Dynamic foot pressure measurement

With dynamic foot pressure measurement, we are able to record foot pressure while walking. Our measuring insoles also allow us to analyze the movement patterns between the foot and the shoe sole/insole.

This allows us to precisely assess where the pressure distribution occurs during walking. This enables us to create the correct insole tailored to your gait pattern. The foot pressure measurement system significantly contributes to quality control in this process. This system is particularly important in the provision of diabetic insoles.

When my son had a serious sports accident, we were sent from the hospital to Orthopädie Scharpenberg because we needed an orthosis. We were given a very warm welcome, hardly had to wait at all, and the product was explained to us very clearly. We received excellent care in every respect.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do I need orthotic insoles?
Orthotics are beneficial for foot deformities, back, knee or hip problems, as well as for overuse injuries from everyday life or sports. They correct posture and provide targeted relief.
How do the different types of insoles differ?
Sports insoles support dynamic movements, diabetic insoles protect the feet through optimal pressure distribution, and sensorimotor insoles specifically activate muscles. We will advise you on the best solution.
How does the adjustment of an insole work?
First, we analyze your feet using a 2D scan and foot pressure measurement. If necessary, we supplement this with a gait analysis. This allows us to develop a perfectly fitting, individually tailored insole.
Are orthopaedic insoles covered by health insurance?
Yes, provided you have a medical prescription, your doctor can issue a prescription for the treatment. Our team will be happy to assist you and advise you personally on all questions relating to prescriptions and cost coverage.
How often should I replace my insoles?
Insoles should be checked regularly and replaced approximately every 6 to 12 months, depending on wear and tear. Our experts will advise you individually.
