The story of Scharpenberg began in 1998 in a 150 m² space. Since then, we have significantly expanded our premises, opened 7 additional branches, and spun off 3 companies. Initially, Orthopädie-Technik Scharpenberg was a one-man operation; today, with Scharpenberg Orthopädie-Technik GmbH, we have over 90 qualified employees.

Due to continuous growth, the administration moved into new, dedicated premises in 2012, and since the completion of the new company building at Neptunallee 1a, all departments are now under one roof. We have established a separate location for rehabilitation services, where you can, of course, also test all our products.

However, we don’t limit ourselves to just one specialization; we are capable of creating successful solutions in all areas of orthopedics and rehabilitation technology.

Through our partner companies, we can now cover all areas of technical orthopedics throughout northern Germany. At our branches in Stralsund, Pritzwalk, Perleberg, Hagenow, Demmin, and Wolgast, we are personally available to you and provide comprehensive consultations. Our headquarters in Rostock, spanning 1,200 m², houses not only our medical supply store but also our orthopedic workshop with an attached consultation center. Whether it’s orthotic construction using innovative and modern composite materials for athletes and children, prosthetics using all techniques and production methods, footbeds, or scoliosis braces, we are your partner in all relevant areas and are always committed to your well-being.

We want to continue offering you the best possible conditions. To guarantee you the best solutions based on the latest developments and technologies, no distance is too far for us to travel to a seminar. We are proud that our international customers have placed their trust in us for many years.
